Linda A. Lacewell, New York’s Department of Financial Services Superintendent announced that the Department of Financial Services (DFS) will hold its first Symposium on Financial Innovation and Inclusion in 2020, during New York Fintech Week.

The meeting is designed to bring the fintech ecosystem together: stakeholders, policymakers, regulators, innovators, established financial institutions, investors, and those representing consumer perspectives.

As regulator of New York’s financial services industry, DFS encourages responsible innovation to ensure that it benefits New Yorkers. The Department looks forward to welcoming domestic and international regulatory peers and stakeholders to advance financial inclusion in fintech.”
