Artificial intelligence (AI)-powered long-term room rental platform Badi is now working in New York City. Badi joins a few other platforms, including Spareroom, Roomster, and Roomi, looking to help pair dwelling seekers with appropriate housing.

Badi has over two million users on the European app. The successful New York City pilot in late 2019 is being fully launched across the Big Apple. The app’s algorithm compiles data points of interests, age, lifestyle preferences, and gender to enable users in identifying tenants or rooms.

Badi users can chat directly with possible roommates; sending and receiving payments can be done via the app.
