Fredonia, a small city in upstate New York, is among the five semi-finalists to be featured on the Small Business Revolution reality television show. It is the only New York location selected from all the contenders.

The other semi-finalists are Benicia, CA, Livingston, MT, Spearfish, SD and The Dalles, OR.

The winning town will be awarded $500,000 for revolutionizing small businesses in that area. T.V. store co-hosts, Amanda Brinkman and Ty Pennington also bring in an army of designers to remodel and revamp local small businesses.
